Last year, the Bonediddlies were unable to attend the playoffs, due to the season having 6 rainouts, and many of the Bones entering college all over the nation. Unfortunately for the rest of the league this year, the Bonediddlies are here to stay until they win it all.
The Bones were matched up vs. Diorio, who they had previously beaten twice this year. This time would not be any different.
With patience at the plate, a few defensive miscues, and some solid hitting by the Diddlies, they put up a huge 13 spot in the first inning. It took the wind out of the other teams' sails, and they never got even close. The Bones didn't really hit after the first inning, but they peppered in a few more runs to match Diorio's 3 in the rest of the game. The Bonediddlies also played great defense, as they have all season vs. Diorio.
With this game in the rearview mirror, the Bones look ahead to playing LeDonne for the 3rd time in 5 weeks. The Bones have lost the previous 2 games vs. LeDonne, by scores of 14-12, and 5-4 (8 inn.). Everyone in the league has a hard time believing that the Bonediddlies will lose to a team for the 3rd time in the same season. These teams will be squaring off at 8:00, as LeDonne is the 2 seed and the Bones come in as the 3. The other semifinal game features a rematch of last years championship game. Fedyski, the one seed, will be taking on the 4 seed in Naberhaus. This game will take place at 7:00. The Winners of these games will be featured in the 9:00 championship. Hope to see you there!
