The Bonediddlies lost a 14-12 game to Ledonne earlier tonight. The Score did not reflect how the game went. The Bonediddlies made double digit errors, but were somehow still in the game. This just shows how well the Bonediddlies have been playing lately. To get the tying run on base in the last inning shows a lot of character.
The Bonediddlies received back to back home runs from Pat Eversole and Mike Schmidt, College of DuPage students, but it wasn't enough. The defense was uglier than Piet. Evan Mielke was the only one without an error, Mercy.
If the Bonediddlies can find a happy medium between, a flawless game vs. Muldoons and a God awful game vs. Ledonne, they should win the championship without a doubt. The Diddlies just couldn't find the ears on the ball, and it showed. You have to give credit to Ledonne, they are a good team who just hit the ball where we weren't and took the extra base off our errors.
The Diddlies will take on Diorio who they beat earlier this year. The Diddlies will play much better.
